This is the only place in the world where you will be able to hunt these majestic Arabian Peninsula desert species in their natural habitat. The three species: Arabian Oryx – Maha (Oryx leucoryx), Arabian Sand Gazelle – Reem (Gazella subgutturosa spp. marica) and Arabian Mountain Gazelle – Domani (Gazella gazelle cora).
Since its inception barely 40 years ago, the United Arab Emirates has established itself as a country with some of the most futuristic cities in the world and successfully intertwined these with its formidable and scenic desert landscapes. Today the UAE can take credit for restoring and protecting these diverse habitats to support these wildlife species.
Hunting Season 1st October through to March 31 – in the winter season which consists of low humidity but very pleasant and cool conditions during the season. Average daytime temperatures are 65 – 70 Fo, and nights and mornings can be quite cool. Temperatures begin to warm towards the end of March.
